He/Him

Welshy real name Ross Walsh is an Irish DJ/Music Producer hailing from a small rural village just outside Kilkenny city. Welshy first established a reputation as a rising talent in 2016, propelled by a string of viral remixes and bootlegs that attracted attention from music heavyweights such as Kygo and The Chainsmokers. From the years 2016 - 2020 Welshy toured his homeland of Ireland extensively playing sell out headline shows in all 32 counties of Ireland as well as International shows in the UK and Europe. This cemented Welshy as a household name in Ireland.

2020 was the year Welshy evolved and started to show what the hype is really about after enjoying a phenomenal reaction to his breakthrough track ‘Haiti’ (15 million streams, huge radio and streaming support, and certified PLATINUM in Ireland), Welshy’s follow-up ‘All For You’ picked up where Haiti left off seeing it top playlists like Massive Dance Hits & Future Dance Hits) whilst radio plays included spins on Radio 1’s Party Anthems and from Rickie, Melvin and Charlie. Over on TikTok, videos made using the track reached 1.5 million views in just two weeks. After the successes of 'Haiti' and 'All For You' followed the radio smash hit 'All Day' featuring Nonô (15 million streams, huge radio and streaming support, Irish Shazam Number 1 and certified PLATINUM in Ireland) and following 'All Day' came 2 more big feature singles 'Paranoid' featuring Izzy Bizu and 'Used To Be' featuring fellow Irish DJ/ Music Producer Shane Codd.

A superstar DJ and producer in the making, Welshy’s profile has skyrocketed since signing to Sony's Insanity Records. The Irishman has since moved to London where he is making a name for himself as one of the UK's most in demand music producers collaborating with the best in the business.
